Anglo American warns EU veto could close Brazil nickel unit

Anglo American said it may move its Brazilian nickel operations toward care and maintenance if EU authorities block its planned sale to MMG. The company said MMG is the only credible buyer it has found and argued a veto would hurt supply and local communities.
