Fed’s Waller says more rate hikes possible if data holds up

Federal Reserve Governor Christopher Waller said Thursday he expects additional rate hikes if economic data keep coming in as anticipated, saying that would help bring inflation back to the Fed’s 2% goal more quickly. Speaking at the Istanbul Economic Forum, Waller said there is some flexibility about when further tightening could come.
