England wheat harvest rises 0.8% to 10.8 million tonnes

England’s wheat harvest is provisionally estimated at 10.8 million metric tons, up 0.8% from the prior season, as average yields increased 2.7% to 7.2 metric tons per hectare, Britain’s farming and environment ministry said.
