Dollar retreats from 18-month high after FOMC minutes

The dollar traded near its strongest level in a year-and-a-half in quiet early Asian-session trading on Thursday after hawkish Federal Open Market Committee minutes showed policymakers at the US central bank saw inflation as the biggest risk to the outlook.
