Applied Digital expects 250 MW expansion leases by year-end
Management said almost all 2027 capacity is effectively contracted, with customer discussions shifting to 2028-2029 amid robust demand. It is evaluating generation equipment for about 2.4-2.5 GW in North Dakota and says it secured portions of suppliers' full factory output for about four years.
Applied Digital said it expects about 250 MW of expansion leases by year-end at rates more than 15% higher, as 2027 capacity tightens. Management said almost all 2027 capacity is effectively contracted, and customer discussions are already shifting to 2028 and 2029 amid what it described as extremely robust demand. 5 GW and described the Center site as having almost unlimited capacity for expansion. Applied Digital also said it has secured portions of suppliers' full factory output for about 4 years and is now seeking additional capacity for 2027-2029.
