Euro falls 0.56% to $1.1198 vs dollar
The euro weakened to 1.1198 dollars per euro at 5 p.m. ET, down 0.56% on the day, after posting a new 52-week low.
56% against the dollar. The move was the largest one-day percentage decline since Thursday, Oct. 1, 2026, and left the euro down 10 of the past 13 sessions. It marked a new 52-week low and the lowest five pm New York rate since Friday, May 16, 2025.
