Lawmakers seek pledges to accept midterm results

A bipartisan group of House lawmakers is asking colleagues to sign a public letter promising to accept certified midterm election results and seat winners who present valid election certificates. The effort is aimed at discouraging any attempt to block members-elect from taking office in January 2027.
