Small- and mid-cap stocks lag large caps as yields stay elevated

After an earlier dip, the S&P 500 is down 0.2%, while mega-cap growth stocks have rebounded. Smaller companies continue to underperform: Russell 2000 down 1.1% and S&P MidCap 400 down 1.5%. The 10-year Treasury yield is at 5.28%, up 1 basis point from yesterday.
