82. 55. Meta Pushes AI Agents Toward Commerce Separately, Meta is working with Walmart Inc. (NYSE: WMT ), Stripe and enterprise AI startup Sierra to develop common standards for how AI agents interact with businesses, CNBC reported Wednesday.

Sierra founder and OpenAI Chairman Bret Taylor is leading the initiative. The effort aims to create clearer rules for how AI agents access personal and company data, handle transactions and interact with retailers. Taylor told CNBC that companies are grappling with several risks as AI agents become more involved in commerce. Those include privacy, security, website scraping and questions over who is responsible when an AI agent fails to complete a transaction correctly.
