By Kelly Cloonan Becton Dickinson said a device aimed at treating iliac artery disease met the primary composite endpoint in a recent trial. The medical-device maker said Wednesday that treatment with its Revello Vascular Covered Stent at nine months met a composite safety and effectiveness endpoint with a failure rate of 2.8%, below the 19% goal set ahead of time. Patients experienced gains in daily function and mobility, the company said. The company said the results support the continued evaluation of the device. Clinical follow-up for the study's iliac cohort is ongoing through 36 months, the company said.
