Two unions at Chile’s Centinela copper mine rejected further contract talks with Antofagasta Minerals LSE:ANTO on Wednesday and decided to strike after government-mediated negotiations failed to produce an agreement. The risk of a strike at the Chilean mine had been building after the talks did not produce a deal.
