Deutsche Bank's Survey on US Debt Burden
Our latest global survey results are out. One question, highlighted in today's CoTD, asked respondents to rank six ways the US might ultimately deal with its debt burden. On the headline measure, muddling through indefinitely wins comfortably: 40% put it first, almost double the 23% who chose inflation. But re-cut the same answers by looking at both ends of the ranking and the picture gets more interesting.
