Global PE Funds eye controlling stake in Gemsons at Rs.1,200 cr valuation

Gemsons Precision Engineering's promoters are looking to sell a controlling stake in a deal that may value the company at about Rs.1,000-1,200 crore, according to three people familiar with the matter. The company has initiated the deal and sent out initial feelers to private equity funds.
