Intel CEO confirms continued work on Terafab project, easing TSM concerns

Intel Corp. (INTC) shares rose approximately 2.5% in overnight trading after CEO Lip-Bu Tan stated that the chipmaker will continue its collaboration with Elon Musk’s Terafab. This statement aims to alleviate concerns that Taiwan Semiconductor Manufacturing Co. (TSM) might replace Intel in the ambitious chipmaking initiative.
