Pacific climate fund gets $15 million in new pledges, still below $500 million target

Nations including Fiji and Ireland pledged about $15 million to the Pacific Resilience Facility, which aims to finance climate resilience and adaptation projects in Pacific islands. Pledges now stand at just under $200 million, far below the fund's target of $500 million by the end of COP31.
