Invalda fund sells 2,600 hectares of Latvian forestland

Invalda Invl said its INVL Sustainable Timberland and Farmland Fund II sold more than 2,600 hectares of forest in Latvia. Assets were held via Latvian subsidiaries Zemvalde Forest and Zemvalde Agro. The buyer was a Latvia-registered company owned by Danish investors. Fund plans to reinvest proceeds into other forest and agricultural land plots.
