Softronic unit CM1 launches vessel sanctions screening service

CM1, a unit of Softronic AB, has launched a Vessel Screening service to check ships against sanctions lists using vessel names and IMO numbers. The service targets banks, insurers, and trade-exposed corporations concerned about rising "shadow fleet" risks in trade finance, underwriting, and compliance. It aims to enhance AML, trade compliance, and third-party risk controls through early risk detection and audit trails.
