Roche Diagnostics ships instruments to boost Ebola lab capacity in DRC

Roche Diagnostics has shipped two molecular testing instruments to Congo's INSP, aiming to enhance Ebola testing capacity in the Democratic Republic of Congo. The instruments are designed to detect the Bundibugyo virus, and Roche has developed a research-use-only PCR test for this purpose. Following local validation by INSP in Bunia, further instrument and test shipments are anticipated.
