India's SDF rate raised to 5.25% in first hike since Feb 2023

The Reserve Bank of India raised its standing deposit facility rate by 25 basis points to 5.25% on Wednesday, its first rate hike since February 2023. The Monetary Policy Committee also raised the repo rate by 25 basis points and shifted its policy stance to calibrated tightening.
