Copper Prices Ease Amid Dollar Strength and Rising Oil

Copper prices edged lower on Wednesday as rising oil prices and gains in the US dollar weighed on the market. Benchmark three-month copper LME:CA1! 25% at $14,379 a metric ton by 0300 GMT. The dollar index TVC:DXY, which measures it against a basket of currencies, was also firmer.
