Cardano Foundation launches programmable token standard CIP-0113

The Cardano Foundation has launched CIP-0113, a new programmable token standard on its mainnet. This standard allows issuers of assets like stablecoins and bonds to embed compliance rules such as KYC and sanctions checks directly into tokens, with enforcement by the Cardano ledger upon transfer, minting, or burning.
