Halozyme Therapeutics Expands Licensing Agreement With Argenx

By Elias Schisgall Halozyme Therapeutics is expanding its partnership with Argenx, allowing the immunology company access to its Enhanze drug delivery technology with two additional exclusive targets. Halozyme said Tuesday that its global collaboration and licensing agreement with Argenx now covers the use of Enhanze for eight targets in total, up from six. The company is eligible for milestone payments and royalties on net sales of Argnex products that use Enhanze. "The addition of two new exclusive targets further validates the value and versatility of Enhanze as the leading platform for rapid, large-volume subcutaneous delivery," Halozyme Chief Executive Helen Torley said. "This expanded agreement strengthens our growing portfolio of partnered programs and reinforces the significant long-term opportunity for Enhanze across a broad range of therapeutic areas."
