Ferrovie dello Stato: High-speed rail linked to 10% GDP growth

A Ferrovie dello Stato Italiane analysis cited a study linking high-speed rail access to a 10% GDP gain over the first decade. FS plans to add about 400 km of new high-speed lines from 2030, expanding its network to roughly 1,500 km, with capital spending set to exceed EUR 18 billion in 2025.
