Canada stocks open higher on easing oil prices and bond yields

Canada's main stock index opened higher on Tuesday, led by technology shares, as easing oil prices and a pullback in global bond yields lifted risk appetite. The S&P/TSX Composite Index rose 0.2% to 35,601.70 points by 9:32 a.m. ET.
