Jaguar Health unit's Napo reports progress on pediatric intestinal failure drug
Napo, a unit of Jaguar Health, reported progress in studies of oral crofelemer for pediatric intestinal failure associated with MVID or SBS-IF. Ongoing investigational use in children treated for over a year has shown meaningful reductions in dependence on parenteral support, with no significant safety concerns. Napo plans to file an NDA for crofelemer in MVID in mid-2027 and will sponsor an intestinal failure panel on Oct. 30, 2026.
