India September fuel consumption rises 3.9% month-on-month

India's fuel consumption in September rose 3.9% from the previous month to 19.26 million metric tons, data showed. This reading was also up 3.4% from a year earlier. Diesel consumption rose 2% from August, while gasoline sales fell 4.4% from August.
