Rubico closes acquisition of 47,499 dwt MR tanker for 2029 delivery

Rubico closed its acquisition of a company holding a contract to build a 47,499 dwt chemical/product MR tanker at Guangzhou Shipyard International, with delivery scheduled for Q2 2029. The vessel has a seven-year time charter from delivery with a major oil trader, with an option to extend four years.
