Iraq Proposes $58/bbl Oil Price for 2027 Draft Budget

Lawmakers familiar with Iraq's draft budget stated that the government has proposed an oil price assumption of $58 a barrel for its 2027 budget. Total spending is projected at 217 trillion Iraqi dinars ($166 billion), with a deficit expected to exceed 40 trillion dinars.
