CVC Leads Italian Drug Buyout of Recordati

Private equity firm CVC, with co-investor GBL, has slightly raised its offer for the Milan-based pharmaceutical company Recordati. Despite objections from activist investor Palliser Capital regarding the process and price, CVC is considered to be in a strong position to proceed with the €11 billion acquisition.
