Sensex, Nifty End Higher for Second Day on October 6

Indian equity benchmarks BSE Sensex and NSE Nifty closed higher for the second consecutive session on Tuesday, October 6. The Sensex rose 685 points to 73,068, and the Nifty gained 220 points to 22,776, crossing the 22,700 mark. The Nifty Bank also saw an increase, adding 414 points to 55,128.
