Wärtsilä to supply CMA CGM with 36 engines for 12 container ships

Wärtsilä booked an order in Q1 2026 to supply 36 Wärtsilä 34DF dual-fuel engines for 12 CMA CGM container vessels. Engines will be delivered via joint venture CWEC for ships under construction at Jiangnan Shipyard in China. Seals and bearings orders were booked in Q1 2026 for four vessels, with the remaining eight booked in Q2 2026. Equipment deliveries to the yard are scheduled to start in 2027.
