Sumitomo Metal forecasts global nickel surplus in 2027

Japan's Sumitomo Metal Mining expects the global nickel market to remain in surplus in 2027, forecasting a surplus of 34,000 metric tons, narrowing from 38,000 tons this year, as Indonesian output recovers.
