Asian cash markets finished mixed: the Nikkei 225 closed up 1.05 percent, the Hang Seng closed up 1.18 percent, the KOSPI closed down 0.89 percent and the ASX 200 closed up 0.62 percent. Asian volume leaders were Xiaomi up 1.42 percent, SoftBank Group down 3.11 percent, Alibaba up 2.47 percent, Mitsubishi UFJ up 1.55 percent and AIA Group down 0.22 percent.
