Ricoh, ETRIA launch "Circular New" to cut newly sourced material use
Ricoh has partnered with ETRIA to launch a "Circular New" initiative, aiming to reduce the use of newly sourced materials in its manufacturing processes. The plan targets A3 monochrome MFPs, with localized circular production planned for Japan and Europe in the first half of 2027. The goal is to decrease new material content to as low as 21% from around 76%, potentially reducing product carbon footprints by up to 25%.
