Singapore refers 8 civil servants to police over alleged use of privileged info for property

Singapore's government has referred eight civil servants to the police for further investigation after a study alleged some officials used privileged planning information for housing transactions. Minister Chan Chun Sing stated the referral does not imply wrongdoing has been established but that the government lacks information to exclude further review.
