Alurion Resources logistics study backs Amargosa bauxite haulage capacity up to 11.5 Mtpa

A logistics study for Alurion Resources' Amargosa bauxite export plan found that road haulage capacity could reach up to 11,500,000 wet Mtpa, exceeding the 5,750,000 wet Mtpa scoping base case. The preferred route uses Brazil's BR-101 highway to the Port of Enseada. Engineering is assessing modular expansion of Enseada capacity to 13,500,000 wet Mtpa for a mid-2027 pre-feasibility study.
