BioMarin names Cara Bauer chief people officer from Oct. 5, 2026

BioMarin Pharmaceutical Inc. appointed Cara Bauer as executive vice president and chief people officer, effective October 5, 2026. Bauer previously served as chief human resources officer at Kyverna Therapeutics and held HR leadership roles at Kite, Riot Games, Netflix, Amgen, and Novo Nordisk. She will replace Amy Wireman, who is retiring.
