US Midwest basis bids for soy and corn fall amid drier weather
Basis bids for soybeans and corn weakened at some US Midwest processing facilities and grain elevators on Monday. Drier weather allowed some farmers to harvest crops following recent rain delays. The posted soybean basis fell by up to 110 cents a bushel at some locations, while corn bids dropped by 8 cents at one Nebraska elevator.
