Zeta Global said it has signed a definitive agreement to acquire Senso, a Y Combinator-backed AI engineering company. The deal is intended to bring more technology in-house, add AI engineering talent and deepen Zeta’s links to frontier models. Zeta said the acquisition will support its AI trust and discoverability offerings and its broader intelligent AI infrastructure roadmap. It also said Senso will help accelerate solutions tied to the Zeta Data Cloud and to brands reaching customers across AI platforms including ChatGPT, Gemini, Claude and Google AI Overviews.

Zeta said the deal will extend its link between enterprise data, AI platforms and customer action, while bringing Senso’s AI engineering talent and deeper connectivity to frontier models and personal agents. Zeta Global Co-Founder, Chairman and CEO David A. Steinberg said the acquisition is an important move in its own right and separate from the announcements the company will make at Zeta Live 2026. Senso Co-Founder and CEO Saroop Bharwani and the Senso team will join Zeta.

Bharwani has more than 20 years of experience working with regulated enterprises. He founded Senso as an AI. Bharwani said Senso was founded to make AI more useful in the real world rather than more conversational. He said AI discovery is becoming a more important part of the customer journey, but visibility alone is not enough.

He added that, together with Zeta, the companies can combine Senso’s AI capabilities with Zeta’s proprietary data and customer intelligence to help businesses understand who AI is reaching, improve how they appear in AI-generated answers and connect those insights to measurable outcomes. Zeta said it will work closely with the Senso team to provide continuity for customers. LUMA Partners advised Senso on the transaction. Bharwani is due to speak on the Athena Stage at Zeta Live on Thursday, Oct.

8, 2026 about how GEO is reshaping how brands are discovered, evaluated and chosen. Senso demos will also be available in the Product Experience area. Zeta describes itself as an AI infrastructure company that helps enterprises turn proprietary data into enterprise intelligence. It says the Zeta Data Cloud and Athena by Zeta connect proprietary enterprise knowledge with advanced AI to support better decisions, stronger customer engagement and improved business outcomes.

The company says it has one of the industry's largest proprietary data assets and that it helps organisations speed up AI transformation and build durable competitive advantage. Zeta says it was founded in 2007 by David A. Steinberg and John Sculley and is headquartered in New York City with offices worldwide. The release also includes forward-looking statements under Section 27A of the Securities Act of 1933, as amended, and Section 21E of the Securities Exchange Act of 1934, as amended.

Zeta says it intends those statements to be covered by the safe harbor provisions in the Private Securities Litigation Reform Act of 1995. The press release says statements that are not historical facts should be treated as forward-looking statements. It says these include details about anticipated future financial performance, market opportunities and expectations for the company's business plan and strategies. ” It says the company bases those statements on current expectations, plans and assumptions, together with industry experience, perceptions of historical trends, current conditions and expected future developments.

The release adds that, although the company believes the assumptions were reasonable when made, many factors could affect its business, results of operations and financial condition and could cause actual results to differ. The company said its forward-looking statements are not guarantees of future performance or results and are subject to risks, uncertainties and assumptions. It warned readers not to rely unduly on those statements, said they should not be treated as exhaustive and noted they are made only as of the date of this press release.
