Genmab, AbbVie drug shows PFS improvement in DLBCL trial
Genmab and AbbVie announced positive topline results from the Phase 3 EPCORE DLBCL-2 trial. The trial evaluated fixed treatment duration epcoritamab in combination with rituximab and standard of care, demonstrating a statistically significant improvement in progression-free survival for patients with newly diagnosed diffuse large B-cell lymphoma.
Genmab A/S and AbbVie said today that positive topline results from the Phase 3 EPCORE DLBCL-2 trial showed fixed treatment duration epcoritamab, a T-cell engaging bispecific antibody given subcutaneously, in combination with standard of care rituximab, cyclophosphamide, doxorubicin, vincristine and prednisone improved progression-free survival in 3 months compared with 2 months in the study.
