Asian markets close higher: Nikkei 225 +2.4%, Hang Seng +0.02%, ASX 200 +0.05%

Asian cash markets finished higher: the Nikkei 225 closed up 2.4 percent, the Hang Seng closed up 0.02 percent and the ASX 200 closed up 0.05 percent. Asian volume leaders were Xiaomi down 1.73 percent, SoftBank Group up 2.96 percent, AIA Group down 0.51 percent, Mitsubishi UFJ up 2 percent and Alibaba up 0.67 percent.
