SBI-led consortium: Mallya owes lenders over Rs. 8,700 crore

A consortium of banks led by State Bank of India (SBI) informed the Bombay High Court that fugitive businessman Vijay Mallya owes lenders approximately Rs. 8,752 crore as of August 31, countering his claim of recovering more than the dues.
