Brazil Industrial Output Rose 0.6% in August

Brazil's industrial production increased by 0.6% in August compared to July, according to data from the IBGE. This figure exceeded the Reuters poll median estimate of a 0.1% rise. However, on a year-over-year basis, production fell by 1.2%.
