CBN: Bank recapitalization success tied to financing real economy

The Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN) stated that the success of its banking sector recapitalization initiative will hinge on the capacity of newly strengthened banks to fund the real economy. This was communicated by the Deputy Governor of the CBN during the 38th Finance Correspondents Seminar in Abuja.
