Twilio to Replace Warner Bros. Discovery in S&P 500 on Oct. 6
Twilio (TWLO) will join the S&P 500, replacing Warner Bros. Discovery, before the market opens on Tuesday, October 6. The change was prompted by corporate transactions and affects the S&P Dow Jones Indices' large-, mid-, and small-cap benchmarks.
A pair of corporate transactions led to changes across S&P Dow Jones Indices' large-, mid- and small-cap benchmarks. Twilio, which is currently in the S&P MidCap 400, will replace Warner Bros. Discovery in the S&P 500 before trading opens Tuesday, Oct. 6, S&P Dow Jones Indices said.
