Vylor, Twilio to Join S&P 500, Replacing Corteva Spinoff and Warner Bros. Discovery

S&P Dow Jones Indices announced that Vylor (VYLR) and Twilio (TWLO) will be added to the S&P 500 index. Vylor, a spinoff from Corteva (CTVA), will be added immediately, while Twilio will replace Warner Bros. Discovery. Index fund rebalancing will necessitate purchases of the newly added stocks.

Shares of Vylor (VYLR) and Twilio (TWLO) rose in after-hours trading on Thursday after S&P Dow Jones Indices said both will be added to the S&P 500, a change that will force index funds to buy the stocks. Vylor, the seed and genetics business spun off by Corteva (CTVA), was added immediately. Twilio, the communication software company, was also named to the S&P 500.
