Lincoln National Closes $6.3B Reinsurance Deal with Talcott

Lincoln National Corporation has completed its $6.3 billion reinsurance transaction with Talcott, effective October 1, 2026. The deal includes the reinsurance of approximately $5.8 billion of in-force GUL statutory reserves, representing about 37% of its remaining GUL block.
