Crypto Policy Centers Urge EU to Classify Perps as Derivatives Under MiFID II

The Hyperliquid Policy Center (HPC) and Circle are advocating for the European Commission to classify crypto perpetual futures under MiFID II, the EU's existing financial instrument regulations, instead of the Markets in Crypto-Assets Regulation (MiCA). This would align them with traditional derivatives.
