DGTR Recommends Anti-Dumping Duty on TB Drug Ingredient Imports
The Directorate General of Trade Remedies (DGTR) has recommended imposing an anti-dumping duty for five years on imports of Ethambutol Hydrochloride, a key ingredient for tuberculosis (TB) medicines, from China and Thailand. The recommendation follows a finding that low-priced imports had harmed domestic producer Lupin.
