Canada's manufacturing sector expanded at the slowest pace in six months in September, according to the S&P Global Canada Manufacturing Purchasing Managers' Index. Trade frictions and elevated energy prices contributed to the slowdown, while business confidence in the outlook fell to a nine-month low.
